beads on a string
Loving the lines on this house which looks so linear and clean. Talking about how you react when your eye follows the line of the building silhouette. This house sums it all with its neat lines and natural use of materials that make it complement its surroundings. It is named Linear House. How apt.

an afternoon at morningside
A lovely afternoon trying to bond with nature. Or, cows more like. They're the best kind of wagyu you can find. Beautiful but shy little creatures. I guess, I kinda stuck out like a giant cupcake of some sort with my gettup. Not exactly blending in, but they seemed to warm to me. Quite ironic and a juxtaposition of sorts. Now, what about a hoedown next? Yes? (Tssk!)

the story of a travelling brogue
I have to say that in all the shoes I own. These beautiful brogues can tell a story or two. It's only over a year old, and yet it's already seen a lot. When I first saw these brogues being worn by my very good friend, it was literally LOVE at first sight. Everything about it is perfect!
Since I got them (and from a very special person), I've worn them through summer and winter (where appropriate of course!). It has also been to lots and lots of exotic places. And I mean it! It's walked the historical cobbled streets of ol' London, breezed through the bustly streets of Meatpacking in New York, tasted the exotic white sands on South Beach, Miami, swanned through the beautiful bridges of Paris and the sunny places in Sydney.
I am sure the adventures don't end there and that there are more on the horizon. This is more of a tribute to my favourite shoe from F Troupe. Do you have one with a story to tell?

specks of colour in the springtime on the marr
Lovely Spring day on the Marr. The lovely scent of grass, the purr of the river nearby. Tranquil and blissful all at the same time. Summer's coming!
PS: Remember the nail colour I was raving about? Well, here it is in better view. Like?

sheer zing of mint
I am really loving alternate pastel colours these days. As far as trends go, it is always easy to follow one with the fine line of hating the look completely come next summer. I prefer clean lines and simple silhouettes which is what attracted me to this dress shape. This shade of green I thought is unusual and with the contrast of making the out shell sheer seemed perfect and timeless to me.
If you would like an alternate look at the whole outfit which I wore during the day, take a look at The London Style Journal.
So which look do you prefer? Day or evening?
