bottled at d'Orsay
Chicettes and voguettes out there must be thrilled to hear that their fav parfum is now on exhibit at the Musée d'Orsay's new exhibition. It is a rarity that a contemporary perfume bottle earns a spot in one of the world's top museums. But the curators of the museum's new exhibition, Art Nouveau Revival, have selected Prada Parfums' Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger as the design representation of the movement's impact on current fashion culture. The perfume's design is derived from Prada's Fall/Winter 2003 collection that served as a deconstruction of a classic Art Nouveau wallpaper print. Prada's pattern will be exhibited alongside work by artists like Man Ray, Salvador Dalí and Aubrey Beardsley.
Miuccia, we salute you!
