flowers and lace - all at play

Loving these flower shorts from H&M. They are really cool. I purposefully paired this with a lace top in a similar blush/nude colour. I love that they clash but kinda blend at the same time. Although this is an OTT take on a sickly sweet look, I would normally just pair the shorts with a deconstructed top, maybe in white or a dove grey.

how wide is your brim?

After watching the parade of guests wearing intricate toppers and feathery fascinators file into Westminster Abbey for the royal wedding, is it possible the hat—that ladylike wardrobe staple of the forties and fifties— is destined for a comeback?

dazzling this s/s11

Daria is looking amazing in each campaign this S/S11. These are just some of my favourites and the looks so diverse; from urban chic to holiday glamour and total fashion forward fantasy in Celine.

feeling dotty with handel in the background

Spring is finally here!! As the weather turns, so does the change in my style. Crazy over dots at the moment, I love the fluidity of this suit. Perfect fit, subtle elegance. What more could you ask for?

exposed precision

These pictures are amazingly precise, and well exposed in a minute space with no perspective. These images are as monumental as the infinitely small details they reveal thanks to a scanner taken in Theirry's vehicle, where he was able to capture a natural universe in black and white where aging is a renaissance.

vast forms

These images have caught my attention and literally blown me away. Visiting Thandi's recent showcase at Tapestry, the gallery on Frith Street has made me want to talk about his work for a long time. He has dedicated much of his career to studio-based still life and portraiture, so to venture into the great outdoors like the last picutre of the ocean is definitely a vast body of work.

The images from his Vast collection capturing various landscapes from Europe and North America like the view at 4,078m, Schreckhorn - the highest peak in the Berne region presiding the Upper Grindewalk Glacier is truly surreal.

Enjoy!

gentle silhouettes

I love this collection by Carin Rodebjer. I cannot wait to be able to get my hands on these pieces. A Swedish native, Carin has combined that very stylish and minimal approach coupled by the NYC aesthetic having had a stint living there and studying at the famous FIT.

The kind of people I admire have a timeless quality, and that’s also how I want my collections to feel,” Carin explains.

Timelessness and gentleness - these words come to mind when you view these graceful images.
