Sometimes, or most... it is all about the shoes. These in my mind are the best things to brighten up a fall or winter look. Feeling comfortable and stylish at the same time is often times a more practical approach. Hence, a good cashmere top, jeans, a nice blazer all tonal or base tones. Cherry on the cake - these Acne babies. Lime green, sour and oh, so chewy. (Bling - always optional)

chen-nelling the future
Chenman has made a huge impact since she started shooting the covers for the Chinese “Vision” Magazine. As her work hit the streets it was met with surprise and awe. People were not only blown away by the amazing photographic images combined seamlessly with computerized 3d rendering, but also by the fact that the artist herself is a Beijing born girl in her early twenties…
Look out soon for her much anticipated collaboration with Mac.

Jewellery is always a thoughtful gift- it’s one thing that’s always better received than bought for yourself, and it serves as an everyday reminder of the giver.

physical crush
I think they are booties by Phillip Lim. In any case, the question I would like to beg is: How do I get my hands on a pair? Totally cool, laid-back yet chic. I love the whole sports look even if you have not been to the gym.
When I saw this photo on Garance's blog, it totally obliterated every style or trend love I had that very moment.

Digitizing fashion? Literally? Well, no harm in trying, at least in the same-ish shade of blue.

Prada announced that a new capsule collection of jewelry is set to launch in November. Now comes your first look—almost. Prada lovers will recognise the jewelry, in patent, resin, crocodile, and studs, from the label’s Spring '12 runway, but you won’t need to wait until next year for it. big purse, small purse
This was a very impromptu photo. It caught me unawares. Yet, The subject is not me. It's the big purse and the small purse. The big purse, is a sculpture situated in front of one of my favourite buildings in the heart of Melbourne's city centre - the GPO building. The small beautiful purse (or tote, to be exact) - the gorgeous yet understated Celine Gusset Cabas in smooth lambskin. My most treasured piece this season. Stylishly practical.

can-indeed
This was such a candid photo. Just an out of sorts kind of balance. Is it fashionable? Is it clashing? Do you question the proportions?
Also, did I tell you about my latest crush? These super gorgeous booties! Mick - you are a genius! I am now an avid collector.

childish fun for chanel crayon-ites
The RxArt coloring book was technically created for kids—it’s handed out to children in the hospital as way to take their mind off their illnesses, but the Chanel Beauté-sponsored booklet will make just about anyone want to bust out their crayon box. Between the Lines features designs by more than 40 artists, including Hope Atherton, Mr. Brainwash, Deborah Kass, Jose Parla, and cover art by Rob Pruitt.

the supper club
Nothing can beat a good ol' cocktail after a lovely day out. My chosen favourite is a Bison Sour, or at a push a Sidecar. What's your favourite tipple?

my favourite part of the day
Aaah, the smell of fresh soy chai with plenty of foam on top. The freshest eggs on warm brioche... the colours of breakfast, the early morning sun. This is always something to look forward to, the night before... and something to reminisce the morning after.
